Our inquiry form collects your name, email, inquiry routing, inquiry type, message and optional consent to receive updates. General inquiries are emailed to SoCal Comedy Club. Comedian directory inquiry buttons open an email addressed directly to the comedian or authorized representative; those messages do not pass through our inquiry form. We email you an acknowledgment. Your inquiry and consent choice remain in the SoCal mailbox for follow-up.
The venue show form collects the event details, organizer contact name and email, and optional flyer. Pending submissions are stored privately for review and sent to our inbox. If approved, the event details and flyer appear publicly on Upcoming Shows. Organizer contact details are not published with the listing.
We send promotional updates only when you check the optional box. You can ask to stop updates at any time by emailing us. We share performance inquiries initiated from a comedian’s profile with that comedian or representative, and show information with visitors only after approval. We do not publish your inquiry message or organizer email.
To correct or remove a listing, request a copy of the information you submitted, or request deletion, email gm@socalcomedyclub.com. We will review and respond to the request. Published listings for past events stop displaying automatically; stored records and inquiry emails can remain until reviewed or removed.
Our pages link to independent venues, comedian websites, ticketing sites and an external map. Those sites have their own privacy practices. The map loads when you open the venue directory; external fonts and design resources may also be requested when pages load.
We collect your private contact name, verification email, optional phone, up to three recent performances, service interests and private notes to review your application. Your stage name, home city/region, biography, optional style, representation details, approved uploaded headshot or image link and official links, and specifically labeled public inquiry email may appear in our directory only after email confirmation and owner approval. Do not enter a private email in the public inquiry field. A representative submitting for a comedian must be authorized to supply these details and materials.
Applications are stored outside the public website folder. Unverified, pending, declined and removed records are cleaned up after 30 days when the system is next used; approved records remain for profile management. Transactional confirmation and decision emails are separate from marketing subscriptions. Applying does not enroll you in marketing. Uploaded JPG, PNG and WebP headshots are stored privately and served to the public only while the profile is approved. Pending uploads are visible only in the private owner review queue. HEIC, SVG and executable files are not accepted. If no stage name is supplied, the applicant is told their real name becomes the public display name. Remote headshot images, if supplied and approved, load from their hosting website; official links open external services. Contact gm@socalcomedyclub.com to correct or remove a profile.
Comedians may supply set lengths, roles, event experience, languages, travel areas, material suitability, additional talents, performance experience, clip details and public calendar or merchandise links. Approved details appear publicly and may be viewed in printable press kits and shared shortlists. Capability descriptions come from the performer; a listing is not a guarantee of availability, suitability, experience or payment.
Private update links go only to the application email associated with an approved profile. They expire after 24 hours and are single use; update sessions last one hour. Proposed revisions require confirmation and approval while the original profile remains public. Your public inquiry email and your private application email are separate fields.
Event inquiry forms collect sender name, email and optional organization, event date, location, audience, requested set length, budget and message. After sender email confirmation, inquiries are emailed to the public contact on the approved profile. We keep routing records privately for up to 30 days, cleaned up when the system is next used. These forms do not create bookings or marketing subscriptions.
Shortlists store selected public profile identifiers in browser local storage. Sharing a shortlist places those identifiers in its URL; it does not share private application information. You can remove saved selections in the directory or clear browser site storage.
We collect private submitter name/email and public organization, title, city, type, date/deadline, compensation, details and organizer link. Publication requires confirmation, permission and review. Approved listings expire after 90 days, or after a supplied valid YYYY-MM-DD deadline. Follow official organizer links to verify current terms. Applications and listing data use the same private storage and retention process as comedian profiles.
SoCal Comedy Club Radio is planned, not live. Recording URLs, ownership and authority details, third-party music or other restrictions, radio interest and readiness statuses are private review information. Existing applicants are not automatically enrolled. Profile publication permission, permission for specifically identified promotional clips and recording-specific radio clearance are separate. We are collecting radio interest only; a separate recording-specific release with agreed terms is needed before radio use.
Venue and sponsorship inquiry contact details, venue information, upcoming shows, ticket links, budgets and goals remain private. Email confirmation sends an inquiry for review, not publication. No marketing subscription, purchase or placement commitment is created. Pending, declined and removed submissions are retained for up to 30 days, with cleanup when the system is next used. Approved profiles remain on file for management. Contact gm@socalcomedyclub.com for corrections, withdrawal or removal.
